Charity shopping score!!
For a while I have been lusting
over the Chanel 2.55 bag. You know the one; classic, sleek and pretty expensive.
Over the last few months a few of my favourite
you-tubers, have shown a ‘what’s in my bag,’ video featuring the Chanel 2.55.
Fleur De Force comments on it perfect size as a small handbag for both day and
night, and to be honest I totally agree. Small bags are better for you, and the
2.55 just looks amazing with everything. As an almost student I simply can’t
afford the ultimate luxury of a Chanel bag… but no fear. There are many good
look’a’like bags on the market. One was in my very own town!
I was testing contact lenses out and was sent to walk around for a half an hour, so I decided to nip into the local charity shop with my Dad for a quick looksee. Then I saw it! A beautiful Chanel 2.55 look‘a’like for only £3! Only hours before I had been thinking about that bag and seeing this imitation was fate I had to buy it! Though it’s clearly not made by Chanel, from a long way off, someone could be fooled?
Anyway I love it! It’s a simple
twist lock makes accessing my phone and purse easy whilst on the move. The clipped
pocket, I have found, is the perfect place for my phone as it keeps it separate from
the debris I collect in the bottom of the bag.
The back of the bag had a pocket
similar to the real 2.55 but in my lifestyle this is not practical. My phone
and my keys are just too big. However saying very small flat things could fit
in here… maybe my packets of gum will find a new home.
All in all I am so pleased with
this find! I was looking to buy a new bag but I couldn't see any I liked, so
this came at exactly the right time. I also don’t need to worry if it gets
ruined over the summer as it was only cheap (compared to the real thing) and
replacing it with a similar design should not be a massive problem. Comment
below if you have similar problems with drooling over expensive bags?
Sorry for the quality of photos I just took these with a webcam
Keep smiling and be happy
